It was between the late 90’s and the early 2000’s that these gems were named “HITS”.
The bands, singers and people behind these gems thought they had finally made it when in reality we never heard from them again, at least most.
Hoobastank – The Reason
They’re headlining a music festival in Quito, Ecuador along with Los Fabulosos Cadillac. Guess we already know which song they’ll be playing!
The Rasmus – In The Shadows
Seems like lead singer Lauri Ylonen is the responsible trendsetter behind feathers and thick eyeliner.
Wheatus – Teenage Dirtbag
Back when Jason Biggs, was somewhat likeable (American Pie era).
Afroman – Because I Got High
He still performs nationwide singing to his forever-popular One Hit Wonder! Looks like he DID make it after all!
Baha Men – Who Let The Dogs Out
To this day, the band has yet to confirm who really are the dogs this song was written for.
Crazytown – Butterfly
This and “Revolving Door” were Crazytown’s best hits, they had a few good songs out there but sadly this talented band never made it any further.
Modjo – Lady
MTV used to play this non-stop 24/7
Puddle of Mudd – Blurry
Kid Rock’s long lost son (not really but they do look alike!) and lead singer keeps his band relevant by making headlines on how bad of a drunk he is.
Owl City – Fireflies
According to StarTribune.com, “Owl City’s Adam Young has gone from one-hit wonder to appearing on movie soundtracks, TV commercials and a McCartney tribute album”
P.O.D – Youth of a Nation
Christian metal band also known as Payable on Death from San Diego, California are still producing music we just haven’t heard it.
Next on One Hit Wonders, Limp Bizkit and their three most popular albums!
