A New Single And Music Video Branch Out From Salt Petal

                                  Salt Petal

An excellent example of the quality of work emerging from the Angelino music scene is Salt Petal, a band that draws inspiration from diverse Latin sounds and always has the avid globetrotter in mind.

“Songs I Used To Love”, the first single from Salt Petal’s soon to be released sophomore album which was produced by indie mastermind Raymond Richards (Local Natives, The Henry Clay People) and mastered by Mark Chalecki (El Tri, Los Abandoned, Le Butcherettes), was recently made available as a digital download.

In conjunction with the single release, the band also orchestrated a quirky video shot in one continuous shot in which paper fish, branches and birds appear flapping around vocalist Autumn Harrison.

To promote the album, Salt Petal will embark on a West coast tour and have included a September 8th show at the renowned ACME Comedy Theater in Los Angeles.  The band is currently working on a video for the second single to their new album and is also planning to release a promotional cover from the psychedelic Brazilian group Os Mutantes.
