Mario Lopez, also known as Mario Lomar, of Curanderos fame died this morning at his home due to an aneurism. He was 38. According to his brother, Rick Lopez, Mario started feeling sick since March, constantly complaining about stomach pains. “We though it was an ulcer,” stated Rick.

This morning while at his home with his domestic partner of years, Mario suffered an aneurysm, taking his life “almost immediately”.

The family is organizing arrangements for a private funeral. “But we also plan on hosting a celebration of his life on June 30,” states Rick. Anyone interested in contributing to the gathering is urged to contact Rick through his Facebook page.

Rest in peace, and thank you for the memories.
