“For the love of…” The Dollface Dames @ Verdugo
Tuesday, 12 May 2009 10:43
Even though burlesque dance has been deemed as obscene throughout history, as time goes by, people are starting to assimilate burlesque and accept it as an art form. Sure, it’s not your typical dance recital or performance art concert; however, there is more to burlesque than scantily dressed beautiful curvaceous women. Celebrating burlesque dance (and the fact that apparently Sunday is the new Saturday), Verdugo Bar is proud to present The Dollface Dames in “For the love of…”, a theatrical burlesque experience that will take the audience on a sensual trip through the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s.
Make an evening out of this event and stay at Verdugo for some drinks. This is a limited engagement, so make sure you don’t miss it- every Sunday starting 5-17 until 6-14.
This show directed by Harold Sylvester is remarkably unforgettable, y además, por si fuera poco, you get to take a souvenir pix with The Dollface Dames. Va-va-boom!
